The management of the Universidad de Granada and its representation operate through several governing bodies that include the faculties, schools, departments and institutes, in addition to the general governing and representative bodies. All the aforementioned organisations are represented on the Governing Council.
The Governing Council is the collegiate management body of the University and its mission is to establish the University's strategic lines and programmes, as well as the guidelines and procedures for their application. Its role is to ensure that all the members of the University Community comply with their obligations and to facilitate the exercise of their legitimate rights.
